Description
Resincoat’s Epoxy Line Marking Paint finds its primary application in creating enduring markings within warehouses and factories, ensuring distinct and durable demarcations. Moreover, this coating serves as a steadfast safeguard in environments demanding both chemical and abrasion resistance, including wash boxes, process tanks, and silos. Its robust chemical resistance makes it an apt choice for marking chemical spillage zones, and its versatility extends to vertical application on bunds, enhancing its usability across a spectrum of settings.
Coverage Guide
Please see below approximate coverage:
2.5kg unit – will create up to 50m lines at 10cm width / 500 microns per coat
2.5kg unit – will create up to 100m lines at 10cm width / 250 microns per coat
Application Guide
Preparation:
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contamination. Suitable mechanical treatment is the preferred treatment prior to application, as this ensures a mechanical key for the coating.
Application:
1. Gently mix Part A for 2 minutes.
2. Pour 100% contents of Part B in to Part A and mix with a drill and paddle until homogeneous.
3. Begin applying product to the floor using a brush or roller (for clear and tidy lines we recommend using tape or stencils during application to ensure that no excess is laid).
4. One coat should be sufficient, apply a second coat if desired.
Due to the engineered viscosity profile, the applied paint will be thin and easy to work with once applied, then rapidly thickens to create a permanent, durable line.
Useful Information
PLEASE NOTE: The pot life of this product is 20 minutes. This means the paint will start to chemically cure after this time. Ensure you remove the paint from the tin in this window. The paint will then be workable on your floor for 40 minutes.
